Good shepherd hospital was inaugurated on 1965 April 1 by late Rt.Rev.Bishop Aldho Maria Pathroni SJ. Situated on the Chellotte Estate of Calicut Diocese Vythiri, Wayanad. it began its medical service by Sisters,belonging to Ursulines Of Mary Immaculate Congregations Kannur. Sr. Dr. Teresa Pia Varikatt UMI was the Medical Doctor in it’s initial years. Followed by late Sr.Dr. Giovanna Alberoni and today its continued by Ursuline sisters. Dr. Krishnadas MD is the medical superintendent, and today it is a 30 bedded catholic rural charitable hospital and recognized service centre for MBBS graduated from St.Johns Medical College Hospital, Bangalore. We provide 24*7 Sevice for Wayanad and elsewhere

Our Doctor
Dr . KRISHNADAS
Dr. Krishnadas A is a Senior Consultant Physician (MD) who is well-known in the Wayanad region. He completed his MBBS from Calicut Medical College, Calicut, in 1984. He then pursued his MD in General Medicine at the same institution and completed it in 1988.
Since 1989, he has been practicing as a Consultant Physician at Good Shepherd Hospital, Vythiri. He has also served as a Lecturer in the Department of Infectious Diseases at Trivandrum Medical College.
